DVRA Officer General Duties
(duties include but is not limited to)
President
Organize meetings
Maintain website (Squarespace)
Update email list (Squarespace)
Maintain membership forms and other flyers (Drive)
Monitor all DVRA related emails and respond to membership enquiries (within 48 hours)
Send out member communications as needed
Handle ad hoc issues as needed
Pickup mail at PO Box in Alamo, distribute to board members as needed (ex. Bills and checks to Treasurer)
Vice President
Respond to all pool emergencies
Coordinate socials if we have any (opening day party, ice cream float, friday fun day, family fun day)
Membership: recruitment
Handle ad hoc issues as needed
Monitor all DVRA related emails and respond to membership enquiries (within 24 hours)
Secretary
Board meeting notes (take and upload to Google Drive)
Work Duty (assign, remind, and monitor)
Contact person for private parties
Recruit for and maintain lifeguard list - names, contact info, copy of certification
Monitor all DVRA related emails and respond to enquiries re: parties and work duties (within 24 hours)
Monitor pool supplies and notify organization guru as needed
Coordinate agreement with Keyspot or any outside entities wanting pool use
Maintain bulletin board/Post calendar
Handle ad hoc issues as needed
Treasurer
Pay utilities - electric/gas, waste, phone, internet, water (most are autopay)
Pay other bills as needed (insurance, permit, plumbing, and other repairs, etc.)
Pay pool service invoices
Maintain bank records (Quickbooks instituted in 2020)
Submit tax forms
Property tax forms
Other assorted forms: SI 100, hazardous waste, etc.
Manage Venmo, Paypal accounts
Purchasing
Reimbursements
Monitor all DVRA emails and respond to treasurer-related enquiries (with 24 hours)
Sign for loans and other financials
Sign for Insurance (April)
Handle ad hoc issues as needed
Facilities Coordinator
Coordinate overall pool function
Communicate with County
Communicate with pool service company
Manage preparation of pool for opening and closing
Coordinate pool improvements
Monitor all DVRA related emails and respond to facilities-related enquiries(within 24 hours)
Membership: distribute pool keys
Handle ad hoc issues as needed
