Thank you for deciding to become a Sponsor Member of DVRA. Without your funds, we would not be able to move forward with any overdue renovations or repairs that our Pool so desperately needs. Your financial contribution will be a much appreciated commitment and to honor that commitment we want you to realize the value with certain incentives.
This agreement memorializes the terms between you (“Member”) and the Diablo Valley Recreation Association (“DVRA”).
In exchange for a one-time payment of either two thousand and five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) or five thousand dollars ($5,000) to Diablo Valley Recreation Association to fund any renovations or projects. The above-listed member and or successors will enjoy the following rights & privileges:
Annual membership dues will be frozen at the annual rate of $495.00 ($2,500) or $285 ($5,000) for twelve (12) years beginning with the first season of sponsor membership and will expire at the end of the 12 seasons. Ex: Membership begins in 2024, and expires end of season 2036.
Annual work duty obligation of 8 hours per family will be suspended for twelve (12) years beginning with the first sponsor membership season and will expire at the end of the 12th season.
All membership dues and work duty obligations will resume to standard member pricing and policies after 12 years.
Sponsor members may transfer their remaining rights & privileges to another family if they decide to sell their membership. Please inform the current board before moving forward with this transfer. A $200 transfer fee will be paid by the new family assuming membership.
Sponsorship contribution is not refundable under any other circumstances
This agreement does not include any special assessments that may be needed in the future
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes any other agreements, understandings, negotiations, or discussions, either oral or in writing, express or implied, between the Members and DVRA. The Members acknowledge that no representations, promises, agreements, warranties, or inducements have been made by anyone other than as appears in this instrument, and that they have not executed this agreement in reliance on any such representation, promise, agreement, or inducement.
The parties' acknowledgment and agreement to all of the terms outlined in this agreement is reflected by their placing their full name in the agreement section at the end of the form.
